Day Centre Support Worker
Dean Healthcare are looking for experienced, committed Day Support Workers to help support service users at a Day Centre in Fishponds.
Your role
You will be supporting service users on a 1:1 basis who have Learning disabilities including autism and complex needs and may present challenging behaviour.
You will support the service users with a range of leisure and recreational activities, including cinema trips, gym, cooking, independent living skills, pub lunch and disco.
The shifts are from 9.30 to 3.30 Monday to Friday.
Requirements
Minimum of 6 months experience within the health and social care sector
An imaginative and innovative approach to care
Experience with Learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.
