Support Worker
Dean Healthcare are looking for experienced, committed Day Support Workers to help support service users at a day centre in Pucklechurch.
Your role
The role will be supporting service users who have Learning disabilities including autism and may present challenging behaviour.
The day centre provides community outreach services from which service users can meet and access a wide range of community based social, leisure and learning opportunities. Activities include; Horse riding, swimming, cinema trips, gym, cooking, independent living skills, pub lunch and disco.
Requirements
Minimum of 6 months experience within the health and social care sector
An imaginative and innovative approach to care
Experience with Learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.
Benefits and positives
£10.50 per hour
Weekly pay
Hourly accrued holiday pay in addition to the hourly rate
