I am looking for a skilled and organized support worker for a highly-rated home that provides accommodation and personal care for up to 26 people with severe learning disabilities, autism communication difficulties, challenging behaviours, mental health and other complex needs.
About the Job:
Working with the team to implement plans for the residents
Providing support and personal care for the residents, including personal hygiene
Ensuring residents safety, and empowering them to make healthy choices
Promoting aspirations and wellbeing by supporting residents in a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, gardening, swimming and social occasions
Keeping accurate records and attending staff meetings
Completing training and working in a reflective manner
Once trained, administering medication
About You:
Passionate about quality care, support and opportunities for adults with complex needs
Resilient, empathetic and ready to make a difference in people’s lives
Willing to undertake training and become part of the team
Good at working under pressure
At least 18 years old, with a valid current driving license
Flexible and reliable, able to work unsocial hours, including weekends
