Opportunity description

Dean Healthcare can provide excellent variety and flexibility of opportunity to experienced Nurses. Working during the nights, you can set your preferred shifts with us, and we will match you with settings that suit your experience and requirements.

We supply high quality staff into nursing and residential homes, and have recently obtained new contracts, requiring us to take on more staff.  

The right candidate will have a drive for delivering a person-centered approach to all aspects of work and will pride themselves in caring to the highest standard. You will have compassion and understanding towards all of the individuals you care for and the staff you work alongside.

Key responsibilities:

To provide support and guidance to the care team during the shift, ensuring that everyone is working to the highest care standards, in line with the polices of the home.
To provide emotional, clinical and physical support to all service users under your care during your shift.
To administer medication to all service users as per medication administration charts
To review and update service user care plans as and when required.
To Report directly to the Registered Home manager, working through daily tasks that must be completed.
Ensure completion of and attend handover before and after every shift.
Assist the care team with general Nursing and personal care, as and when required.
Be a team player and a role model


Ideally you will have:

A minimum of 12 months paid experience since registration
Experience and knowledge of Nursing Home regulatory requirements, including working within CQC guidelines
A valid NMC pin
Strong communication skills
A diverse clinical experience
A driving license
