Opportunity description

Dean Healthcare is a specialist agency providing healthcare professionals to clients across Gloucestershire.

We are currently looking for experienced and dedicated support workers who are looking to make a difference. You will be working in a variety of supported living and residential homes, day centres and respite care homes. We can offer day and/or night shifts with full time or part time hours available.

You must be confident in your ability as you may be providing 1-1 or 2-1 support or lone working. You will be working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, mental health conditions and others. You will be supporting service users in everyday tasks and activities, taking them out in the community, providing personal care and carrying out domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning. Your main responsibility will be to promote and encourage each individuals independence and help them live everyday to the fullest.

As a support worker you must have a minimum of 9 months paid experience within the UK. We are also looking for support workers who drive due to the location of clients however this is not essential.

Requirements

  • A right to live and work in the UK
  • A minimum of 9 months paid experience within support work
  • Driving is ideal
  • All employment is subject to satisfactory references and DBS check
