Dean Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of a well-established, nationwide client. Based in Worcestershire, the client supports adults with learning difficulties and complex personality disorders, as well as mental health and challenging behaviour.
You will be working in a residential setting, with service users within their own homes, inside a shared housing unit. The role will vary from supporting adults with mild to strong challenging behaviour, each with varying levels of support needs. The role requires provision of daily support, from promoting self-medication and personal hygiene to assisting residents on daily errands and everyday living.
The right candidate will be able to support service users on a 1-1 basis and within a group setting. As well as being able to use their own initiative and creativity, whilst promoting independence and helping to make a positive impact on the service user’s development.
We are looking for candidates who can work 36 hours per week on a temporary-permanent basis. You will initially work for the client on a temporary contract for 12 weeks, and depending on suitability you will then be asked to work permanently for the client.
