Dean Healthcare are currently recruiting for a well-established client within the Forest of Dean area. Our client requires Support Workers who are passionate, reliable and use their own initiative. Experience within the feild is preferred but not essential.

The right candidate will be working full time hours, including weekdays and some weekends. You will undertake a temp-perm contract with the client, through Dean Healthcare. At the end of the temp-perm process you will then become employed by our client. The temp-perm process allows for both candidate and client to recognise whether the role is suitable for the candidate.

The role involves supporting service users with mental health conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities. You will be supporting service users to access their community and feel part of the establishment they live in. This may involve helping with appointments and activities, accessing volunteer work and helping with daily activities such as cleaning and organising. You may also need to provide personal care and administer medication.

  • Driving is ideal but not essential
