Your role

£28-34,000 per annum, plus benefits
Locations: Ilkeston, Sutton Coldfield, Worthing, Harrisahead

The role:

  • Supervise, support and encourage children to attain life skills and confidence
  • Support your staff team to fulfil the requirements of their roles and develop
  • Ensure the welfare and care of each child and meet their care needs
  • Be responsible for staff supervision, leading shifts, ensuring placement plans are followed, policies, procedures, risk assessments, rotas and making sure that education is supported
  • Create positive relationships with the children, making sure you are meeting their needs and always safeguarding them


  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
  • Have at least 2 year’s experience within Residential Childcare
  • Be 22 years old or above to apply as per children’s homes regulations
