Your role

We are looking for experienced Support Workers in Gloucestershire to cover shifts in various homes and services- from mental health and learning disabilities, to young care leavers and degenerative disorders, whatever your special skill set, we have opportunities for you to work around your commitments and gain more experience and training.

Duties

  • To provide emotional and social support
  • Encourage independence and champion rights of the residents
  • Ensuring the safety of the clients in and out of the home
  • To be able to work independently and with others
  • To assist with the day to day needs in the service

Requirements

  • Minimum of 9 months’ experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Driving is ideal
  • Willing to complete specialist training to meet the needs of the client
  • A friendly and confident manner
  • All employment is offered subject to satisfactory references and DBS check
