Support Worker

Female Support Worker Nights, £12.15 per hour, Weston Super Mare

This role is only open to female candidates due to the needs of the People Supported.

• Ensure the highest quality of care is provided to the adults

• Promote the right values and attitudes towards people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs and behaviors described as challenging
• Assist supported adults with social, educational, and work activities
• Work with Social Workers, relatives, medical professionals, managers, and colleagues
• Complete records and documentation of progress, incidents, and activities
• Promote and uphold the privacy, rights, dignity, health, and wellbeing of the individuals

• Have appropriate Right to Work in the UK
• Communication skills
• IT literate and confident to use IT for record keeping
• Ability to complete written notes
• Genuine interest and compassion to work with our vulnerable adults of various complex needs
• Good and effective communication skills
• Strong team player
• Committed with a desire to make a difference to those that you care for, in a positive and patient manner
• Ability to plan for yourself and others
• Ability to adapt your approach to the individual’s needs and a willingness to learn
• Manage time effectively, prioritising workloads
