Senior Support Worker- Children’s homes
£27,520- £30,244 per annum, dependent on location and experience
Locations: Westbury, Tadworth, Robertsbridge, Downham Market, Henfield, Macclesfield, Folkstone, Stoke on Trent, Hampshire
I am looking for Senior Support Workers to join a brilliant national company and make a difference to the children in their homes. This role will see you gain valuable experience and training, and gives you a clear pathway to achieve roles in management!
About the role:
- Work with the team- from Managers to support workers to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Supervise, support and encourage children to attain life skills and confidence
- Support the team to fulfil the requirements of their roles and develop their skills
- Ensure the welfare and care of each child and meet their care needs by following plans and risk assessments
- Create positive relationships with the children, making sure you are meeting their needs and always safeguarding them
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- Have at least 2 year’s experience within Residential Childcare
- Be 22 years old or above to apply as per children’s homes regulations
- Have a valid driving licence
- Be passionate about Children and their futures
