Team Leader
We are currently recruiting for a capable Team Leader within a lovely children’s residential service.
Your role
40hrs per week
£27,000 per year
This service offers support to young people to take small steps towards independence. They are committed to encourage positive achievements and prompting sustainable living.
About the role –
- To work under the direction of the Home Manager
- Create a safe and supportive environment
- Evaluate the young person progress and to make and adjustments that may be needed
- Give summary reports on a weekly basis to the Home Manager
- Ensure all electronic and paper recordings systems are completed
- To promote the respect and wellbeing and person-centred ethos of the service
- Implement support plans
- Arrange and attend regular individual supervisions with the Manager
Requirements
Skills required
- QCF/NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care
- Previous experience with young people
- Must hold a current full manual driving licence
- Working knowledge of childcare and child development
- An understanding of current childcare legislation
- A genuine interest in working with children and young people
- Good communication verbal and written
- To take direction and work effectively
This position involves occasionally travelling to various locations to take children and young people to appointments, training school etc.
